Overview

The Wühr laboratory in the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics seeks applicants for a short-term casual hourly research assistant position of ~25 work hours per week. The Wühr laboratory develops and employs quantitative proteomics methods to obtain a systems level understanding of cellular organization.

The expected timeframe of this position is June through August 2020. Review of applications will begin immediately. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performing quantitative proteomics experiments on various yeast species and analyzing experimental and mass spectrometry based proteomics data.
  • Participation in group meetings.
  • Other lab duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requirement for the position is prior experience with quantitative proteomics experiments and data analysis.
