Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)f or the DST-SERB Funded Project in School of Electrical Engineering (SELECT), (IRR/2016/000010), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).The following project is sanctioned under Industry Relevant Research & Development Scheme, and the industry partner is Yantravision Software Private Ltd, Bangalore. http://yantravision.com/

Title of the Project:

Design and Development of Embedded Vision based System for Yoga Therapy (Project Brief:Develop breathe and posture analysis IPs and use them to build custom hardware solutions to health care and wellness industries)

Qualification:

BE in EEE / ECE/ Bio Medical / Instrumentation and ME/MTech in any relevant program with NET or GATE Without NET/GATE, salary/stipend as per Institute norms

Desirable (if any):

Knowledge in signal processing/image processing/machine learning algorithms Programming skills in MATLAB, OpenCV, C/C++, and Python. Experience in embedded system design

Stipend: Rs 25000/- + HRA for the first year Rs 28000/- + HRA for the second year
Sponsoring Agency: DST- SERB, Government of India.
Duration: 2 years
