Job Summary
This project aims to understand drivers of diurnal variability in total column CO2 concentrations and develop methods to identify which drivers dominate at a particular location. A secondary goal of this project is to consider how to apply this analysis to upcoming Orbiting Carbon Observatory 3 data, in which diurnal and seasonal variability will be intertwined.
Job Duties
- Analyze column CO2 data from the Total Carbon Column Observing Network.
- Communicate results via poster, presentation, or written paper, as appropriate
- Other duties, as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Familiarity with atmospheric science and the carbon cycle
- Basic experience with at least one analytical programming language (Python, Matlab, R, IDL, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic experience with Unix command line interface
