We are looking for a highly ambitious and skilled post-doctoral scientist to join the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences ( at KCL to develop motion-robust fetal MR spectroscopy (MRS).

The aim of this project is to tackle this important unsolved challenge involving the development of prospective and retrospective motion correction techniques, machine learning, real-time feedback and automated analysis methodologies for MRS in the 2nd and 3rd trimester of gestation.

A motion-robust fetal brain MRS examination will provide unique metabolic information that will improve diagnosis and management of fetal development abnormalities and pregnancy complications.

You will build on existing collaboration with scientists, clinicians and technicians within the School and the Centre for the Developing Brain. You will have a background and PhD in MR Physics, Engineering or a related subject, with experience in MRI/MRS data acquisition, reconstruction, motion correction or analysis methods and a strong interest in MRS.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 27th April 2022.

This is a full-time post.

The selection process will include a panel interview and short presentation.
