Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Real Estate and Construction (Ref. 500233) (to commence in August 2020, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field (a degree accredited for professional registration), and a Master’s degree in built heritage conservation. They should also have demonstrated knowledge of and experience in UNESCO’s heritage conservation processes. Local or overseas professional qualifications in architecture and architectural conservation as well as other relevant professional qualifications are desirable.  The appointee is expected to teach relevant subjects at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to undertake administrative duties.  As the BA and MSc in Conservation programmes are accredited by local built environment professional bodies, experience in teaching and course administration of similar professionally accredited programmes is highly desirable.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

The University only accepts online application for the above post. Applicants should apply online and upload an up-to-date CV and a cover letter. Review of applications will start as soon as possible and continue until June 7, 2020.
