The Professional Systems Team in IT at City, University of London are recruiting a SAP Finance Technical Analyst to join a team that provides support for City's professional systems including, SAP, management information, identity management and integration tools. The successful candidate will be joining City at an exciting time of change and will work as part of a great team. This is an opportunity to make a positive contribution to the University; whilst gaining valuable experience of this rewarding sector.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will use their SAP Finance knowledge and expertise to act as the functional lead in the team. Key duties will involve working in partnership with colleagues in Finance to ensure that their processes and procedures are understood in order to quickly and effectively provide the team with support. In addition, the successful candidate will be involved in the full lifecycle (requirements, development, testing and documentation) of projects, enhancements and the annual patching round.
Person Specification
Demonstrable experience as a SAP Finance functional lead in particular, Controlling and Finance is essential along with knowledge of ABAP programming. The successful candidate will also have strong analytical skills including the ability to assess problems and identify solutions, good interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience in communicating with customers alongside a strong commitment to customer service. Knowledge of SAP Workflow is desirable.
