Job Description Summary

Individual hire for this position will be a member of an established research team working in the exciting and dynamic field of antigen-specific T cell immunotherapies. The role will be integral to the pre-clinical development of the next generation of engineered cell therapies for cancer.

Job Description

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Perform molecular and cellular in vitro assays
  • Generate gene-modified T cells for pre-clinical experiments
  • Technology development of new gene editing and molecular biology tools
  • In vitro propagation of human cancer cell lines
  • Perform multi-color flow cytometry analysis
  • Ordering and assisting in lab maintenance
  • Blending data analysis with computer operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master’s Degree is a plus. Experience working in a Molecular Biology and/or Immunology laboratory is strongly preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Excellent organizational and record keeping skills are necessary. This position also may involve work on weekends and University holidays.

Position is contingent upon funding.
