Executive Dean

An outstanding opportunity exists for an exceptional academic and inspirational leader to take up the role of Executive Dean at Kent Institute Australia.

Kent Institute Australia (Kent) is a dual sector private provider delivering quality Higher Education courses in Melbourne and Sydney. Established in 1989, Kent aspires to create a brighter future for all of their students and prepare them for their chosen career path in Business or Information Technology.

Kent is now seeking to appoint a new Executive Dean to lead the higher education portfolio through the next exciting stage of its evolution. This role will be based on the Melbourne campus. As Executive Dean, you will lead the development and implementation of Kent’s strategic academic management strategies, including a scholarly productivity program to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning and teaching across Kent campuses. You will report to the Chief Executive Officer and Academic Board and contribute as a member of the Senior Management Group.

The new Executive Dean will bring a record of accomplishment in scholarship and academic governance. You will bring extensive academic leadership experience in the higher education sector and experience in developing and implementing best practice teaching methodologies and curriculum development. You will also be comfortable building relationships with key internal and external industry partners.
