At TU Dresden, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science, the Institute of Art and Music invites applications for the

Chair (W2) of Art and Didactics of Art

to be filled at the earliest possible date.

You will represent the subject Art and Didactics of Art in research and teaching within the teacher training degree programmes for the subject Art at. We place particular emphasis on the knowledge of various contemporary concepts of teaching and didactics, media-supported and process-orientated teaching, and your own artistic practice. We expect you to actively participate in the continuous development of the teacher training degree programmes and academic selfadministration of the university. Besides, we presume your willingness and ability to conduct classes in English. A close collaboration with the Chairs of Didactics of the other teacher training subjects and with the partners of DRESDEN-concept as well as your sound support in the TUD Sylber project will be highly appreciated.
