Associate Professor Radiology and Medical Imaging

Fatima College of Health Sciences (FCHS) was established by the Institute of Applied Technology in 2006, an aim to meet the United Arab Emirate’s growing need for the skilled healthcare professionals. The college started by offering the BSc in the Nursing program and has since then expanded to offer other degree programs in Health Sciences like Pharmacy, Emergency Health, Physiotherapy, and Radiology. The college has a Foundation program called General Requirement Unit to support the students on the entry level. FCHS has campuses based in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ajman, and Al Gharbia in the UAE

The Bachelor of Radiography & Medical Imaging (RMI) Program at Fatima College of Health Sciences is currently inviting suitably qualified experienced applicants from educational and clinical backgrounds. By offering professional entry and higher education programs in RMI, the College has a vision to be a major contributor to the hospital workforce and health system development in the UAE.

Candidates will be required to deliver lectures and supervise students during their clinical practice and research activities according to the study plans in the RMI curriculum, Keep abreast of developments in the field, Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction, Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics such as Radiographic Anatomy, Radiologic Pathology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Physics, CT, US, and MRI.

We are seeking to appoint an Associate Professor (or other ranks subject to experience & publications) to teach Bachelor of Radiology & Medical Imaging program for the academic year 2020/21. Applicants must have a PhD, Doctorate of Philosophy in Radiology and Medical Imaging, with experience in both teaching and clinical field.
