Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is seeking an experienced full-time clinical cardiologist for appointment as a Clinical Associate for a renewable two-year term. This position will be primarily focused on outpatient cardiology practice and consultation at our various Chicagoland locations. The appointee will read EKGs, perform exercise stress tests, and read/interpret echocardiograms. There will also be opportunities for inpatient consultation at our main campus in Hyde Park.  This position does not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have an medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Cardiology.
