£20,130 to £23,067 per annum
UWS Registry is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly organised Administrative Assistant to support University Timetabling for a period of maternity cover. In this role you will be part of the Registry Administrative Service Team supporting the specialised functions of the University Centralised timetable and room booking requests. This is an opportunity to join a strong team of dedicated administrators to develop University timetables and in doing so directly impact and support experience for all UWS students.
As the Administrative Assistant for timetabling, you will work within the established University Central Timetable process for producing the annual academic timetable for UWS. You, will allocate teaching spaces, flexible use meeting rooms and open-access labs on the five campuses (Ayr, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, London, Paisley) to align with the timetable requests from the Schools and Support Departments. Resolving conflicts, requirements for space and short notice changes to timetables in accordance with established processes are also an important part of the role.
You will be educated to HNC level or have equivalent work experience of administration, including previous experience with timetabling and an understanding of, and respect for equality and diversity, preferably in a Higher Education environment.
This post may be based at Paisley, Ayr or Lanarkshire campus, however you may be required to work at any UWS campus or location from time to time to meet needs of the business.
