Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Electronic Engineering within UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (SEEE) has a long and distinguished international track record of achievement across major fields of research including physical layer communications and circuits, electrical power systems and biomedical engineering (http://www.ucd.ie/eacollege/eece/). The School is also committed to the highest standards of undergraduate teaching, learning and student development within a research-informed environment.

In 2012, University College Dublin (UCD) and Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) agreed to the joint delivery programmes through the development of Beijing Dublin International College (BDIC). One of the first such programmes is the Bachelor of Engineering (Internet-of-Things Engineering (IoTE)) which admitted its first students in Beijing in the Academic Year 2012/2013. A programme in Electronic and Information Engineering (EiE) was recently established with the first cohort of students entering stage 4 in September 2020. Both programmes are led by SEEE. The programmes are delivered through the medium of the English language. The present academic posts have arisen directly from this continued development and represents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidates to be involved at this new and important initiative for both universities. It is expected that the successful candidate will be normally based in Dublin but spending significant portions of the academic year (approximately, but not limited to, 20 weeks) in Beijing.
