Job Description

The Clinical Research Finance Manager will be responsible for reviewing and managing the process related to clinical trial protocols and regulatory documents in order to prepare a billing plan for all medical procedures and services required in a clinical research project utilizing clinical skills, good clinical practices and knowledge of research and government regulations to evaluate each new study and determine appropriate coverage and billing requirements. The Clinical Research Finance Manager works with the applicable clinical department and Principal Investigator to optimize cost recovery, coding study services and applying all applicable local and national coverage decisions and third -party payer rules. Review and approve all Prospective Reimbursement Analysis, confirming consistency of the payment terms in the coverage analysis with the protocol, informed consent, the budget and the contract. Communicate effectively and serve as a subject matter expert on Prospective Reimbursements, Coverage Analysis and the Clinical Trial Management System. Present to the Research community on subject matter expertise.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
