Job Description Summary

PADLS New Bolton Center on Penn Vet's Kennett Square campus seeks a Financial Coordinator for their veterinary pathology section. (No public transportation available).

Job Description

This position will be responsible for accessioning autopsy and biopsy case submissions, verifying case billing, sending diagnostic reports to clients, purchasing supplies and equipment, processing credit card payments and journal entry requests, compiling monthly activity reports, responding to client questions and requests, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must have strong computer skills and the ability to communicate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Duties Include:

  • Data entry into LIMS medical records system, including verification of billing and uploading reports into VISION hospital electronic medical records system
  • Make equipment and supply purchases, create purchase orders, and process credit card payments
  • Manage monthly tally of hospital necropsy and disposal costs and process associated journal entry requests
  • Compile monthly PADLS activity reports
  • Answer phone calls and other client/customer service
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Associates Degree or Two Year College equivalent required, 2-3 years experience.

This position is contingent upon grant funding.
