Applications are invited for the position for Lecturer in Accounting in the School of Business and Management. The successful applicant will join the Accounting and Financial Management Department.
The Department has core research strengths in Accounting and is a healthy mix of research active faculty and teaching focused staff. The existing research expertise are in the area of financial reporting, accountability, performance management, governance, accounting in public sector and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), accounting in emerging economies, and public-private-NGO partnerships.
The successful candidate will make contribution to one or more of the School’s interdisciplinary research centres and themes:
- Centre for Critical and Historical Research on Organization and Society
- Centre for Digital Organisations in Society
- Centre for Research into Sustainability
- Intercultural and international perspectives on management,
- Knowledge and organisational learning
We wish to appoint a scholar, educated at doctoral level, with an emerging research profile and teaching experience.
The successful candidates are expected to have a developing track record of good quality research outputs published in peer-reviewed journals or other outlets, and the potential to further develop this record, in accounting. They would be expected to take an active role in the teaching of our successful BSc in Accounting and Finance and the MSc in Accounting & Financial Management, and any other programmes.
