Job Purpose
BPP Apprenticeship School is recruiting for an Improvement Leader Tutor and Coach role to support the delivery of our Improvement Specialist Level 5 and Improvement Leader Level 6 programmes.
We are looking for highly motivated, practitioner-experienced candidates to bring high quality support, nurture and develop talent within the sector. The overall purpose of the role is to support each learner to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
Job Background
You will be responsible for coaching apprentices to develop their workplace capability and to improve their knowledge, skills and behaviours. This will include holding regular coaching meetings to review progress and to set stretching and challenging targets whilst providing feedback on assignments to provide indicative grading and feedforward. You will also be host development workshops with learners to focus on skills development and self-reflection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a structured and appropriate development journey for apprentices enabling them to maximise their full potential
- Conduct 6 weekly coaching meetings which focus on career development, measuring impact, career planning and setting stretching targets
- Provide feedback on skills development assignments which provides indicative grading and feedforward on further improvement
- Conduct initial induction calls with learners and line managers to introduce the programme approach, support, assessment method and journey
- Provide final end point assessment support to learners
- Work collaboratively with client services, onboarding and other BPP central support teams
- Provide feedback to the apprentice on their progress against knowledge skills and behaviours relevant to their standards
- Communicate effectively with learners via the VLE and other appropriate tools and actively encourage learner engagement with their programmes using resources available
- Provide academic and safeguarding support to learners
- Facilitate skills development workshops with learners to facilitate development of skills and self-reflection

Candidate Criteria
- Appropriate Improvement Leader, Change Management or Process Improvement practitioner experience/qualifications
- Experience working in a corporate environment
- Apprenticeship understanding and knowledge
- Coaching understanding and knowledge
- Facilitation experience
- Relationship building skills and ability
- Ability to provide appropriate feedback to students against apprenticeship standard
- Organisational skills
- Time management skills
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check
