OFFICER, ECONOMIC PROSPERITY COMMUNITYSolve, to work on Solve’s Economic Prosperity pillar. Will play a key role in developing, growing, and engaging the Solve community. Responsibilities include researching and recruiting private, public, nonprofit, and academic leaders who are experts in relevant pillars to create a community of excellent, diverse, cross-sector, cross-geography leaders relevant to the Economic Prosperity pillar; managing relations and handling correspondence with leaders to engage them with Solve and its community; working with teams across Solve on planning and executing events that bring together the community, physically and virtually; sourcing potential sponsors and partners to develop customized partnerships with Solve; participating in the facilitation of human-centered design thinking workshops and other Solve activities, both in person and virtually; promoting Solve challenges across the Solve community and its extensive networks for targeted outreach to find the most promising Solver teams; maintaining customer relations management databases; supporting Solver teams through facilitated funding and mentorship; and brokering partnerships between Solver teams and Solve community leaders and creating partnerships to advance the growth of selected solutions. 

Job Requirements

REQUIREDbachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in an area relevant to Solve’s work; at least three years’ experience including at least one managing relationships and partnerships; excellent organizational skills; initiative; and ability to plan work and effectively prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, work independently, and anticipate needs in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. PREFERRED: experience in a social/environmental impact organization, experience with sales or nonprofit development, and project management training or experience. Job #18014-7
