Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 499939), to commence as soon as possible for three years, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in Biological/Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline.  Preference will be given to those with experience in cell culture, cellular/molecular biology, flow cytometry, animal studies, and cancer biology or cancer immunology related research work.  Applicants should also be self-motivated, organized and able to work independently as well as in a team; and have the ability to multi-task with attention to detail.  The appointee will work under the supervision of Dr. Stephanie Ma on a collaborative research-based project relating to exploiting stemness as a cancer cell vulnerability.  For further information, please contact Dr. Ma by e-mail at stefma@hku.hk.  Details of Dr. Ma’s research can also be found at http://thesmalab.com/.
