Course Tutor in Behavioural Science

Salary from £46,100 to £53,295 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £59,354 pa inclusive of London allowance

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months

The Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science teaches and conducts cutting-edge research that is both based in and applied to the real world. We are looking for someone who is an inspirational teacher who will be a part of team that positions our Executive MSc in Behavioural Science as a leading global degree that attracts the best students from across the UK and around the world. 

Candidates should have a strong track record that demonstrates experience of teaching Behavioural Economics or a related field, ideally at Executive or Postgraduate level, a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. They should also have a viable strategy for future research in their field. The post holder will develop, teach and assess a core course in Behavioural Science to cover core curriculum and connect it to behavioural science and issues of public policy. They will also be involved in developing, teaching and assessing a course in quantitative research methods. They will play a role in student pastoral support and wider student engagement activities. The postholder should have a completed PhD in Behavioural Economics or a related field, or very close to completion, by the post start date.
