ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, ADMISSIONSSloan School of Management to perform complex and diverse duties in support of admissions for the MBA, MFin, MBAn, MSMS, and Sloan Fellows programs.  Will provide support for directors and work closely with the marketing, recruiting and evaluation teams on projects; serve as the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls, emails, and in-person visitors to Admissions; provide information about the School and Institute and triage communication as necessary; monitor and reconcile accounts, work in the SAP and Concur systems, investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, and prepare and process forms; work within an established budget and follow budgetary guidelines in the selection of vendors and using purchasing authorization; use discretion to resolve complex problems in a thorough and timely manner; provide support for office operations; communicate with prospective, admitted, and current students; greet and assist visitors; use CMS for website maintenance; maintain complex CRM database; and manage office supply inventories, logistics, and meeting arrangements. 

Job Requirements

REQUIREDhigh school diploma; at least three years’ administrative, office support, or related experience; excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, organizational, and project management skills; an appreciation of diverse cultures and backgrounds and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of constituencies; proven ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team; ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and multitask for multiple managers; attention to detail; diplomacy; and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint). PREFERREDbachelor’s degree, knowledge of FileMaker Pro, and experience with MIT and MIT systems (Concur, SAP, Slate). Job #18055-5
