POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Laboratory of Nuclear Science (LNS)-Heavy Ion Group, to join a physics program focused on precision studies of the quark-gluon plasma using hard probes such as jets, photons, and heavy-flavor hadrons. Will play a major role in the group’s computing, detector, and analysis activities including the proposed JETSCAPE theory/experiment collaboration, the CMS experiment at LHC, and the sPHENIX experiment at RHIC.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a Ph.D. in nuclear or high energy physics. Job #13382

Position will be stationed in Long Island, NY at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL).
