Applications are invited for the post of Techne Training Officer in the Techne Doctoral Training Partnership which is based in the Doctoral School.

The post holder will be part of a small team that manages the Techne AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership. Techne provides scholarships, training and development for doctoral students in its nine Consortium institutions.  This is an exciting time to join the team following renewal of AHRC funding and the post holder will manage several innovative projects designed to further enhance the training and development opportunities for Techne students.

The Techne Training Officer will work closely with the Techne Senior Administrator (Training and Communications) and will have responsibility for organising and promoting some of the larger Techne events including the Techne “Conflux” and the training offered to the AHRC’s National Productivity and Investment Fund students. The post holder will therefore have excellent organisation skills, be a strong communicator and be computer literate in all Microsoft packages.
