The School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences delivers a wide range of courses to students which aim to advance the knowledge and application of computing, mathematics, statistics and data science through teaching and research excellence.

The School’s teaching and research programs cover a broad range of professional and other disciplines in Computing, Data Sciences and Mathematics. Our programs include undergraduate degrees, honours degrees, combined undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, graduate-entry Masters programs, coursework Masters programs, and higher degree research programs (Masters and PhD).

The School is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the team. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Level A) is expected to make a substantial contribution to: 

  • The research direction of the Centre, including regular publication in high impact and international journals and acquisition of competitive external research funding.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and the governance of the Centre for Research in Mathematics and Data Science.
  • Contribute to the teaching requirements of the School.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will boost the productivity of the Centre by working closely with one or more of the researchers in the Centre. A key focus of this position is to build connectedness among researchers and their projects. This may be done by working collaboratively with several members of the Centre, or by working at the interface of a CRMDS research program and another part of the University, or by strengthening an important collaboration with researchers outside the University.

Full-Time, Fixed-Term position for 2 years based at Parramatta South Campus.

Commencement date will be subject to grant of an Australian working visa.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level A $96,777 to $116,921 p.a. (comprising Salary of $81,778 to $98,800 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
