Description
The Department of Statistics at The University of Chicago invites applications for a teaching position in winter quarter 2020. The position is temporary, part-time, and non-benefits eligible. This position runs from January 2, 2020 through March 27, 2020. The teaching responsibility is one course for undergraduate students: Statistics 22000, Statistical Methods and Applications. A syllabus exists and a textbook is chosen, and these materials may be adapted as appropriate. The position will be part of the Service Employees International Union. The relationship between the lecturers and the university is governed in part through a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Qualifications
A PhD in Statistics or closely related field, and prior teaching experience at the college level.
