Job Description

Work location: Vellore Campus

Key Responsibilities:

• Should play a key role in data analysis, visualization, prediction, planning and purification.
• Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on data science and related issues
• Documentation of the various programmes/activities
• Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality;
• Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its follow-up
• To collaborate with other stakeholders of higher education for evaluation, promotion and sustenance.
• Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services
• Sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad as per Institutes requirement.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, andExcel dashboards

Education:

• Masters degree in Mathematics / Statistics

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years as a data analyst role in large companies/govt. sector

Requirements:

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office and in data analytics tools
• Ability to work with large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of various academic practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Mathematical ability, to work with figures and budgets without compromising on accuracy
• Good oral and written communication skills, Strong analytical skills
