Applications are invited for the role of Degree Apprenticeships Administrative Officer. This role will support the Apprenticeships Manager in the co-ordination of the Faculty’s degree apprenticeship activities. The successful person will ensure effective and efficient smooth running of systems and assist in the development of these initiatives within the Faculty. They will liaise with students, academic staff, support staff, other university departments, external companies and agencies in relation to degree apprenticeship initiatives.
Applicants will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent. They will have demonstrable professional experience in the Further/Higher Education sector, ideally with apprenticeship administration and have significant experience in working front-facing with students and employers/external bodies, with a good understanding of work-based learning. The successful candidate will have proven experience of maintaining records and implementing systems and records and coping with the demands of a pressured, highly variable role. Accompanying this are excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility in their working hours and excellent self-management and organisation skills. The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel within the region. Training will be provided where necessary.
