Overview

Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a large, multi-campus institution serving communities nationally and internationally. As part of the University’s professional services, the Human Resources Service Centre (HRSC) is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead its team of HR Business Partners.

The Role

The HR Business Partners work as trusted and valued strategic advisers with the leadership teams and staff in their portfolio of clients (both academic and professional services units). Responsible for the University’s approach to Change Management, the role of the HR Partnerships Manager is to provide leadership, coaching and development to the HR Business Partners in order to foster a strong community of practice within HR, and collaborative relationships with the HR leadership team and the leadership teams within in the Schools and Centres of the University.

The successful candidate will be strategic, client-focussed and:

  • Be an experienced HR Manager or HR Business Partner with experience with managing a team of HR professionals and remote working;
  • Be able to demonstrate experience with leading and implementing HR-related projects in a progressive, complex organisational context;
  • In the context of large-scale organisations, have demonstrated experience in supporting the development and implementation of change management initiatives, and conducting evaluations of these initiatives;
  • Have the capability to collaborate, work inclusively in a management team and provide strategic input into business and operational plans.

As the University has two metropolitan campuses in Joondalup and Mount Lawley, and a regional campus in Bunbury, some travel will be required according to business needs.

This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $116, 906 to $122, 258 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
