The School of Law is seeking to appoint a highly experienced and enthusiastic individual who can lead our nationally commended Legal Advice Centre (law clinic), support its expansion and develop a world-leading clinical legal education and external engagement portfolio.

The post of Clinical Legal Education Programme Leader is a senior management role within the School and the person appointed will have responsibility for the overall operational management of the Legal Advice Centre and line management of staff working exclusively or primarily within the Centre.  

You will be an excellent and highly experienced legal professional with experience of leading a law clinic in a HE context or of leading a law firm. You will have an evidenced ability to provide leadership at programme/subject level, including the enhancement and innovation of teaching and learning practice. You will report to the Director of the School of Law and will be a member of the School Management Team.

works with business, we have entered into a new partnership with the maritime industry to create a unique global knowledge hub to bridge the shortage of skills in the engineering and maritime sector. The hub will be further strengthened by a new Manufacturing Technology Centre to build knowledge and understanding about the manufacturing technologies.
