Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 499784), to commence in June 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a doctoral degree by research in public health, social sciences, or related disciplines, with experience in community-based health research. Preference will be given to those with knowledge of medication management services, experience in evaluation of service implementation and effectiveness, and/or experience in establishing electronic data collection system. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (particularly Cantonese) and excellent communication skills. They must be able to work independently and to collaborate with external parties in different healthcare settings.

The appointee will work on a community-based medication management service project with the aim to empower patients and their caregivers in medication management, and to improve safe use of medication in the local community. He/She will coordinate the research design; liaise with community service providers; plan, develop and conduct the evaluation of service implementation and effectiveness; oversee data collection and management; write scientific publications and reports; and perform other duties as assigned.
