The School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences are seeking experienced Lecturers in Safety Sciences to join their passionate Transport Emergency Safety Science Team. This role will suit someone ready to take the next step in their career and move into a team where you can use your broad knowledge in all Safety Sciences areas including Occupational Health and Safety and Accident Forensics.

We are seeking technologically savvy professionals who are experienced at using the latest and most current equipment such as drones and 3D scanning within their teaching and assessment methods. You will have experience supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students, a demonstrated ability to contribute to curriculum development, writing and evaluation using flexible modes of delivery.

Position Requirements

  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications and experience in Safety Sciences or another related area.
  • Demonstrated industry experience in Safety Sciences / Accident Forensics at a senior level.
  • Ability in the collection and processing (preparing evidentiary material for use in courts) of accident investigation evidence using contemporary methods such as Drones, 3D scanning and photogrammetry.
  • Experience researching in Safety Science and the application of this research to teaching.
