Academic Quality and Policy Office (AQPO)
Location: Egham
Salary: £35,931 to £42,456 per annum - including London Allowance

Applications are invited for the post of Academic Quality Officer in the Academic Quality and Policy Office.
The Academic Services Directorate at Royal Holloway is responsible for a wide range of administrative and policy related roles central to the student lifecycle. The Academic Quality and Policy Office, which forms part of this Directorate, has responsibility for a number of key areas in the College related to academic provision, namely, academic quality assurance, academic regulation and policy development, providing support for academic governance and academic appeals. The Academic Quality Officer will provide high-level support for the Senior Academic Quality Managers in the operation of quality assurance processes (course validation and review) and secretarial support for key College committees. The role holder will also be expected to support the Interim Head of Academic Quality and Policy quality assurance related work as required.
This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and professional individual interested in the work described above to take on this fixed term role during the secondment of a member of Academic Quality and Policy team. Candidates for this post should have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. You will need to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with academic and administrative staff across the College on a wide range of academic related issues but also work collaboratively with other members of the Academic Quality and Policy team. You will have good organisational and problem solving skills demonstrated through the ability to work independently, prioritise work appropriately and formulate and implement solutions to problems where appropriate. Good IT skills are also required.

This is a fixed term post which is available immediately to cover the secondment of a member of the Academic Quality and Policy team.
