This exciting role will be based in Lavington Street, London, and exists to ensure the day-to-day running of King's College London’s HPE Server, Storage and Backup Platform Infrastructure, including hosted HyperV and VMWare Hypervisor services are delivered to a high standard, and in accordance with defined service level agreements. 

It includes proactive management and maintenance of all aspects of Compute and Storage Infrastructure and hosted Virtualisation platforms, the adoption of new services into production, and responding to incidents and service requests, in alignment with ITIL processes, and ITSM tools. 

The role is also responsible for projects involving new and existing Compute and Storage infrastructure requirements, and for driving continual service improvement, ensuring that the college has appropriate and available Compute and Storage platform infrastructure services to support its ongoing needs. The role will also involve working closely with other teams and stakeholders within the IT department, wider University, and associated 3rd party support providers including HPE.

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract. This is a full-time post.

The selection process will include an initial telephone interview followed by a panel interview including a short presentation.
