Job Description Summary

With close supervision, administer all financial and administrative operations for Penn Dental Medicine. Work independently to manage, process, monitor and analyze revenue and expense transactions, purchasing card journals, weekly and monthly payroll and personnel activities, budget and forecast preparation and submission, expense reports and assets and work space updates. The incumbent will also manage and administer grants and contracts, monitors budgets, submits financial reports to corporate partners and funding agencies. Will generate monthly reports using Ben Financials or other financial systems and conduct monthly reconciliations. Ensure compliance of daily, monthly and annual financial policies and procedures, and meet all reporting requirements.

Job Description

This position supports Workday and business administration activities and projects for the Fiscal Operations Department at Penn Dental Medicine. This includes providing administrative support and coordination in hiring, creating new positions, terminations, position discontinuations, and any other related budget, operational and Workday activities to support the operations of the School. The role will help in creating job requisitions, hiring staff into positions, setting up compensation, updating costing allocations, management of weekly payroll/timesheets, processing incentives/additional pay requests, working with International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) on employment-based immigration matters and processing pertaining to hiring international scholars (Visa/H1-B requests, F-1/J-1 students, etc.), working with faculty to appoint Post Doctoral fellows in the Post Doctoral Database and set-up in Workday. Qualifications
Associate's Degree or Two Year College with 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
