Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Sport and Health Sciences, for a Lecturer in Sports Coaching and Development. The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of undergraduate practical sports coaching and development modules. The School is home to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and CPD opportunities both taught on-campus and by distance learning and we are proud of our commitment to delivering courses and CPD opportunities with a strong research-, industry-, and practitioner-inspired teaching philosophy.

Experience of teaching Sports and Development in a higher education environment is essential, along with a good honours’ degree in a Sports related discipline and the ability to teach and supervise up to Masters level. With a relevant postgraduate qualification, the successful candidate will have practical experience in delivering a range of applied sports coaching and development
