The successful candidate will join a new programme of research investigating the molecular mechanisms of how microRNA circuits shape intestinal immunity. Translational immunology studies including clinical and industrial collaborations, will investigate how candidate microRNA’s in mononuclear phagocytes either promote tissue healing or drive chronic inflammation in models of inflammatory bowel disease or bacterial infection.
