Full Time, 35 Hours per week
Grade 6 : £36,914 to £44,045 per annum
As part of the ongoing development of our Information Services department, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the IT team to support the university core systems. You will require an expert level understanding of and a working experience of systems such as Moodle, Celcat, Agresso and Pure.
In this role you will be required to work on your own initiative to plan updates and maintenance work to the core university systems, as well as proactively resolve faults that occur. You will also have discretion in the management and prioritisation of your own workload and, in conjunction with the line manager, organise downtimes when required with the systems business owners.
You will be qualified to degree level and have experience of working in a large busy IT department at a professional level and be able to demonstrate experience of providing a professional and customer focused approach to IT support.
You will be a proactive, organised individual, with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have high level planning skills to organise and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
