About the role

The School of Health and Human Sciences provides an exciting and innovative learning environment and works with individuals, families and communities in order to meet their health needs and requirements and deliver person-centred care. The School is distinctive for its multidisciplinary understanding of client care, commitment to the prevention of disease and promotion of healthy lifestyles. The School offers fields of study across a broad range of health-related professions including clinical exercise physiology, midwifery, natural and complementary medicine, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, osteopathy, pedorthics, podiatry, psychology, speech pathology, sport and exercise science, and sport management.

The Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science will work collaboratively to deliver a high standard of innovative, learner-centred undergraduate and postgraduate education that is cognisant of professional standards and the philosophy and aims of the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology curricula.

Remuneration package of up to $136,184 per annum (inclusive of base salary $98,273-$116,397 per annum and 17% employer's contribution to superannuation).

About you

We are seeking application from passionate and engaged academics who demonstrate commitment to maximising student success and learning outcomes. You will hold a PhD in a relevant field and have experience teaching clinical exercise physiology within a university environment.

You will have demonstrated success in the use of contemporary educational technologies in blended and online environments and experience in clinical supervision.
