Salary package: $127,442 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Fixed term (until February 2021)

  • Work with the Associate Dean, Research to provide strategic advice and support on Research Strategy
  • Work with the College General Manager to ensure the financial sustainability of the College through strategic use of available funds

Position overview

The ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region.

We are seeking an experienced people manager to manage our College research and finance functions. You will be responsible for leading a specialist research services team providing strategic advice to the College Executive on increasing research performance and assisting academic staff in obtaining external research funding. Supported by a qualified Finance Manager, you will also be responsible for leading, managing and growing the capacity and capability in the financial administration function as well as the development and delivery of accurate budget management and financial reporting in accordance with legislative and University requirements.

You will work in close collaboration with the General Manager and College Executive to provide strategic planning, advice and support as well as building professional relationships across campus.
