The Residential Services team are now open to applications for the post of Assistant Customer Operations Manager in Residential services within the Commercial Services department.

A focused, motivated and operational hands-on individual is required to lead a team and deal with the many and varied service requests from students, visitors and staff across our Residential Receptions and Visitors’ Information Centre. The role involves coordinating and leading a team of full and part time Residential Customer Service and Postal Service staff (25 full time equivalent staff). Ensuring that the quality of service and administration across the teams and customer contact points reflects our Commercial Services mission of Delivering Inspirational Service

The role will require a range of managerial skills across the following key responsibilities of leadership, financial awareness, planning, organising and above all customer focus and communication.    

The Customer Services team operates up to 365 days per year and the opening hours of the receptions range from 7.00 until 22.00 including weekends. All team members are expected to work a shift pattern which may vary based on the demands of the business.

The successful candidate will have previous managerial experience in a customer service focused environment/role and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring Inspirational Customer Service. Relying heavily on your leadership, communication and problem solving skills you should not be fazed by dealing with the variety of customer requests. In addition, you should be well organised, have good IT skills and be a team player.

The position is full time, working any 5 out of 7 days a week on a rota based shift pattern, including 7am start times and 10pm finish times.

This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
