The University of Bristol Estates Office is looking for enthusiastic and motivated person to work in a front of house role.

The successful candidates must be able to work on their own, whilst liaising with other staff, to deliver the high standards required by the University.

Working as an Estates Assistant, you will provide a professional front of house service ensuring that all visitors receive a warm and professional welcome.   The role includes reception duties, performing safety checks, controlling access, adjusting room set-ups, and clearing/securing areas at the end of the day/evening. 

We are seeking candidates with good customer service skills, who are happy to learn new skills and be part of the positive vision we are creating for the University of Bristol.  Day-to-day IT skills and some form of customer service experience essential, education to NVQ/equivalent minimum is an advantage. 

Due to the busy nature of the University of Bristol, opportunities for overtime working are also available. 

The shift patterns for the 2 positions available are:

Post 1 - Part-time, Monday-Friday, 30 hours per week (13.00pm – 19.00pm, some flexibility required).

Post 2 - Part-time, Saturday and Sunday, 16 hours per week (10.15am – 19.15pm, some flexibility required).
