We are seeking an academic leader to join a vibrant team of academics in the Liverpool Business School (LBS), Faculty of Business and Law.  LBS was granted faculty status within the institution in 2017 and in 2019 the faculty was expanded to incorporate the School of Law.

You will play a key role in providing research leadership in the newly formed faculty. You will have an international profile in your discipline, built on excellence in research, teaching and enterprise, as evidenced through high-quality publications, income generation, impact, networking and doctoral supervisions/examinations.

As well as developing and leading world-class research in your discipline, you will actively contribute to enhancing the research profile of LBS, through mentoring and facilitating the activity of other researchers in LBS with a view to building a strong research culture.

You will also make a key contribution within the School of Doctoral Management Studies, which is one of the three schools that sits within LBS, through undertaking the strategic role of Head of the PhD Programme and you will contribute to the delivery of our executive education offerings, such as the MBA.

We are looking for a team player who works well in a collegiate community of staff and postgraduate research students.

The faculty is open to applications from across the whole spectrum of business and management but is particularly interested in those with expertise in one of the following disciplines: Marketing, especially specialising in Retail/Digital Marketing, Strategy and International Business or Finance and Accounting.

LJMU is an equal opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all background and communities irrespective of age, transgender status, disability, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity and religion or belief.  All our appointments are made on merit.

Please note all of our vacancies will be closed to applications at midnight on the advertised closing date, unless otherwise stated.
