This is an exciting opportunity to join The Ageing and Movement Research Group in the Department of Population Health Sciences, Bristol Medical School at the University of Bristol. You will take the lead on providing physiotherapy input into a programme of research called PRIME-Parkinson (Proactive and Integrated Management and Empowerment in Parkinson’s Disease). PRIME-Parkinson will see the implementation of a new integrated care model aimed specifically for people with Parkinson’s disease. It is designed to manage problems proactively, deliver integrated, multidisciplinary care and empower patients and their carers.

This post offers an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team at the University of Bristol and collaborators at participating NHS hospitals. As an integral member of the PRIME-Parkinson UK team, in this role you will provide clinical, practical and research support for the research, as well as liaising with patients, NHS hospitals and research networks.  You will have the opportunity to develop research skills in a cross-disciplinary international environment.  Training and mentorship will be available to meet the specific aims of the project as well as your overall career development.
