International Tutor (Health and Society Course)
The School of Population Health & Environmental Sciences is seeking to appoint an International Tutor to manage the Health and Society Course for incoming Study Abroad students interested in learning about the practice of medicine and undertaking further study at medical schools or in the allied health professions (https://www.kcl.ac.uk/abroad/study-in-london/health-society).
The post holder will plan, coordinate and contribute to the delivery of the Health and Society Course. The role involves a combination of teaching in the form of workshops and seminars, and administration involving developing and planning the teaching schedule, and maintaining contacts with the clinicians who provide students with clinical shadowing off campus. The role also provides academic and pastoral support to all students registered on the Health and Society Course.
The post holder will ideally have some administrative and educational experience in a higher education institution, preferably within the field of Medical Education.
