About the position

This role is responsible for leading the International admissions team in line with the University’s admissions policies and processes.  Undertaking a number of activities to support the recruitment targets of international students, the Manager, International Admissions will lead the implementation and quality assurance of related policy, processes and procedures both internally and externally in line with regulatory frameworks.

The Manager, International admissions will have responsibility for reporting activities, quality assurance, continuous development and collaborative knowledge sharing practices.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have proven leadership experience within a complex and changing environment that includes the management of people, financial resources and projects to support the La Trobe International operational plan.

The incumbent will have strong interpersonal skills required to negotiate, motivate and influence internal and external stakeholder to achieve required outcomes. High level analytical skills will be required to support change and provide advice to senior stakeholders. The ability to make decisions will be required to ensure that activities within the international admissions team aligns to the commitment of robust quality assurance and continuous development in pursuit of service excellence.

Staff are required to employ and maintain a professional, positive and solution orientated approach across all work practices and daily interactions.
