Post-Doctoral Research Associate
An exciting opportunity for a social scientist with qualitative research skills to undertake a programme of in-depth research on the mental health impacts of precarious employment, and the experience of contemporary welfare provision in the UK, including Work Capability Assessments and other conditional benefits. You will have completed a PhD in a related area, have experience in designing research, in conducting focus groups, in-depth interviews, in ethnographic research, and in analysis and interpretation of findings. You will work closely with Professor Nikolas Rose, develop your own portfolio of research and collaborate with team of researchers and our national and international partners to support the development of our innovative, interdisciplinary ESRC funded research Centre on Society and Mental Health.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 36 months.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.
