Salary: £40,322 to £49,553 plus £4800 London weighting per annum
Contract Type: Fixed Term - Two year fixed term contracts for both roles.

The University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint a Senior Systems Administrator with a strong working knowledge and hands on experience of Microsoft Server technologies, Linux and other IT Infrastructure, web and cloud technologies.
Key technologies used include VMWare, Active Directory, Azure AD, windows and linux server operating Systems, apache, IIS, SQL server, Oracle, SAN Storage, Exchange, Office 365, SCCM, DNS, F5 load balancing and puppet.
The University has a cloud first policy so in the next two years there will be a drive to use more Platform and Infrastructure as a Service using Azure or AWS, in addition to Office 365, providing opportunity to use existing skills in this area and develop them further.
You will be the technical lead on relevant projects and should have demonstrable experience of delivering solutions based on current technologies and industry best practices. You will be responsible for supporting key University applications and Infrastructure services and helping the University achieve its digital strategy.
