Contract type   Fixed Term Contract
Working pattern    Full time
Salary    £38,017 - £42,792 per annum

We are seeking to appoint a Research Development Associate as maternity cover to work primarily with the Faculties of Engineering and Science, under the direction of the Research Development Managers. The role is part of a job split, alongside another Research Development Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly valued team based within the Research and Enterprise Division.

You will provide strategic support for research across the faculties, particularly focusing on supporting fellowship and new investigator applications as well as contributing to delivering training and organising funding and grant information events.

We are looking for someone who can work both in a team and on their own initiative and you will have an appropriate post graduate degree or equivalent experience.  Experience of working in the HE or funding sector would be particularly useful. Expertise in facilitation techniques would be valued. Strong interpersonal, organisational and IT skills are essential.

Please ensure you provide a supporting statement with your application showing how you meet the job criteria/ specification.

We intend to hold interviews shortly after closing date.

Please contact Kerrie Carlin (kerrie.carlin@bristol.ac.uk) for further information or an informal discussion about the role.

We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
