Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer (several posts) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 499594), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in Nursing or a healthcare-related discipline; and be a holder of a Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, plus a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification teaching experience in nursing at tertiary institutions.  They should have classroom and clinical teaching experience in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes, and be competent in curriculum development.  Mentoring skills and fluency in both English and Cantonese are essential.  Academic research experience will be an advantage.  The appointees will play a leading role in nursing education and be responsible for the teaching and coordination of nursing courses.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
