The School of Biological & Environmental Sciences is seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced academic as Head of Subject to lead the Geography & Environmental Science team. This post is to provide effective leadership and management of the subject discipline including strategic oversight of the teaching & learning portfolio and research activity.  Undergraduate programmes within the subject group include BSc Geography, BSc Climate Change and BSc Wildlife Conservation complimented by Postgraduate programmes in MSc Wildlife Conservation/Environmental Sciences & Drone Applications.

You will work closely with the School Director and Programme Leaders in planning, co-ordinating and delivering academic activity in these areas. You will be an internationally recognised research leader with a substantial record of high-quality (REF quality) publications and research income generation. Applications are welcomed from any area of Physical Geography or Environmental Science, particularly from candidates with a research specialism relevant to the developing area of climate change within the School.
